Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Golden California, Inc. is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join us to help promote U.S. businesses in China.  Golden California, Inc. operates a platform called California Center to help U.S. businesses to introduce their products, technologies, and services to China. Headquartered in Sacramento and with branch offices in Shanghai and Chengdu, China, the California Center has been supported by a number of California government officials.

This is an entry-level position, where you will have the great opportunity to learn and grow your skills in a fast-growing company.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Create marketing materials for different projects
  • Create newsletters and email blasts
  • Manage website and social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Assist in event planning and execution
  • Assist in U.S. membership recruitment and service
  • Collect potential clients’ information and update client database
  • Conduct market research to help with decision making
  • Create product brochure and translate product information into Chinese
  • Work with China team closely to achieve project objectives

Basic Qualification:

  • College degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT and other applicable software
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under deadlines
  • Attention to detail is crucial
  • Strong work ethic, drive and ambition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must speak Chinese and be able to translate English into Chinese
  • Must have authorization to work in U.S

Preferred Qualification:

  • Previous marketing experience is highly preferred
  • Able to use design software such as Adobe photoshop
